If the numbers of a column are A.B,C.D
The pattern is:
A^2-B^2=C
C^2-B^2=D
First column
3^2-2^2=9-4=5
5^2-2^2=25-4=21
Second column
9^2-4^2=81-16=65
Third coumn
8^2-1^2=64-1=63
Fourth column
7^2-3^2=49-9=40
Correct answer is 40
